Athletic shoe technology was developing quickly yet the orthotic industry was archaic. Footbionics set about producing an orthotic that was immediately comfortable to wear, looked professional and utilised some of the technology already in use in athletic shoes. Footbionics also set about to create a range of orthotics for different conditions, activities, and foot types in a "one shoe does not fit all" approach!

Sizing

According to shoe size. When sizing orthotics, if your shoe size falls between orthotic sizing, then as a rule of thumb, size down in orthotic (see images for size chart).

Professional / Firm Density

The most advanced product in the range features "tri" foam density support. This highly supportive orthotic integrates 3 different foam densities to form an external shell for unsurpassed control. The Professional model maintains its shape well and whilst supportive, is very comfortable. Used in grossly pronated foot types (rolled in / flat feet), heavier patients, and collapsed arch structures.

• Heavier patients
