FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 80% Rayon / 17% Polyester / 3% Spandex

This premium Rayon blend fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our Rayon blend also allows for superb garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles designed for women's knit clothing. Our jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed). Dry Clean OK.

THE STORY

Luxuriantly textured with a contemporary looking jacquard, we have crafted our knit Ukah Tobie Jacket using a premium Rayon blend fabric chosen for softness, durability and minimal care. This jacket styling is flattering to the body and is also designed for long wearing comfort. Attention is drawn to our Ukah “woodblock motif” jacquard which doubles as a visual element, as well as a fashion statement, to help express your personal sense of style.

Design details of our single-breasted Tobie Jacket include a rounded slit-neckline (which folds open, forming a V-shape to the chest), an asymmetrical single-button front opening, and 3/4 length sleeves finished with wide band cuffs (which can be rolled up for an optional look). The hip-length bottom hem is fashionably longer on the backside than the front. Very subtle stitching throughout renders elegant craftsmanship to this unfitted jacket. This versatile silhouette is perfect for traveling, smart looking for the office, and would make a smart addition to your weekend wardrobe.

Our expressive “Ukah” jacquard here doubles as a textural element while providing added visual interest to the garment. This unique weave features an intriguing woodblock motif design, in pattern repeat. Although this is not a reversible garment, the reverse side of the fabric shows a repeating hourglass design ingeniously formed by a puffed ribbon weave. This superb type of dual weaving artistry wonderfully complements the soft-textured feel of our luxe Knit Jersey fabric.
