Will this work with my aftermarket front bumper?

This bar is engineered for factory bumper geometry. If you're running an aftermarket bumper, test-fit it first — most bolt-on replacements use the same mounting points, but some custom pieces may require verification before final installation.

Do I need to remove the bumper cover to install this?

Yes. Access to the factory mounting brackets requires bumper cover removal. Once the cover is off, the bar bolts directly to the existing attachment points underneath — no drilling or welding.

Should I paint or prime this before installing?

The bar arrives in hard panel form. If exposed to weather, primer or paint will extend its life — but if it sits behind the bumper cover, primer is optional. Clean the surface before any coating application for adhesion.
