Welcome to Waters Edge: Northern Lights!

This new edition plays in a similar way to Catherine’s Waters Edge game, but with northerly twists! It offers a brand new deck of cards full of beautiful new artwork and a whole snowy environment to tackle Waters Edge challenges in.

In addition to building your town, you will also build fjords which offer a new way to bring fish to your northern people. Ravens swoop past, ice caves offer a place for fermenting your catch while nordicshell houses provide a safe retreat from those roaming yetis searching for their own fishy treats...

Players will now also fish at night under the lights of the Aurora Borealis (northernlights) but only when you've paid your fishy dues to the gods who unlock powers in return. Only four of the eight powers will be up for grabs during any game which keeps it interesting each time you return to play, especially when the cards only reveal their power on selection!

For those who haven't played the original game, Waters Edge: Northern Lights will follow similar game dynamics in that it is a tactical card game for 2-4 players.

Games last between 20 - 45 minutes and are suitable for those aged 10 upwards (or 6+ with a little more support!). The objective of the game is to gain as many points as possible in the timescale available. Points are gained by catching fish and expanding the town.
