Gisselfeld was designed by Jacob E. Bang in 1933 and ceased production in 1970. Gisselfeld achieved great popularity and is produced in at least 18 different sizes, from shot glasses to isasiettes and decanters. It is produced both with and without gold edges and with a matted edge instead. During the Second World War, a limited amount of glass cut with oak leaves was made.
The decanter is in perfect condition with shiny gold edges.
