This piece entitled "Calm before the Storm" represents the feelings of comfort and relief when the suffering is over after you lose a loved one, witnessing them slowly suffer and pass away. The colour scheme and blended brushstrokes lends to a feeling of calmness and balance. This mixed media piece is painted on watercolour paper using acrylic inks, spray paint, oils and oil pastels. Texture was added using collage papers.
