The best picture jaspers in the world come from the Oregon-Idaho border, and most of them are becoming almost impossible to find – either rough or cut! A few years ago, I was fortunate enough that I was allowed to pick through the estate of an old rockhound and dealer, and came up with several hundred pounds of exceedingly rare material, including this beautiful Oregon scenic, or picture, Jasper from a variety of classic locations. This spectacular slice is begging to be framed, as-is, to compliment a room or office with a western motif! This material, for the most part, is extremely solid and fine-grained, resulting in beautiful, glowing cut stones! This is slab #7 of 7, and it is approximately 4.5 mm thick. Priced at $50.
